Biological Activity

Indaziflam is an alkylazine herbicide that inhibits cellulose biosynthesis (HRAC Group L). It provides long-lasting pre-emergence control of annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges at very low use rates.

Spectrum and Route of Action:

Pre-emergence herbicide with strong soil residual activity. Absorbed primarily by roots and to a lesser extent by emerging shoots. It disrupts cell wall formation in meristematic tissues, preventing weed emergence. Provides extended residual control lasting several months.

Scope of Application:

Controls a wide range of weeds including:

• Annual grasses (annual bluegrass, crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtails)

• Broadleaf weeds (chickweed, henbit, speedwell, groundsel, plantain)

• Annual sedges

Mainly used on:

• Turfgrass (golf courses, sports fields, lawns, sod farms)

• Ornamental landscapes and nursery stock

• Citrus and pome fruit orchards

• Vineyards

• Sugarcane

• Industrial vegetation management (railways, roadsides)
